Hark! The herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!”
Joyful, all ye nations rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With th’ angelic host proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Refrain

That night must have been one like no other night, before or since. Imagine a host of angels proclaiming, “Christ is born in Bethlehem”! Today our ears may not hear angels, but we can still thrill at the good news. Not only was Christ born in Bethlehem long ago, but He can live in our hearts today if we let Him. Diane Bish plays “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” on the organ of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
